აბრაამის ტბა
აბრაამის ტბა ხელოვნურად შექმნილი ტბაა, რომელიც მდინარე სასკაჩუვანის შენაკადით საზრდოობს დასავლეთ ალბერტაში, კანადა. 1972 წელს, კანადის მთავრობამ გადაწყვიტა კაშხალი აეშენებინა მდინარის ნაკადზე, მაგრამ საზოგადოების უკმაყოფილებამ კაშხალი ტბად აქცია.
ტბის "დასათაურებისთვის" ჩაატარეს სტუდენტური კონკურსი, რომელიც მიზნად ისახავდა ისეთი სახელწოდების შერჩევას კატეგორიებიდან - "ისტორიული მნიშვნელობა, ცნობილი პერსონა, ადგილმდებარეობა, გეოგრაფილი და ტოპოგრაფიული დახასიათებები, ასევე შესაძლოა ხაზი გადმოდა სამომავლო ტბის ღირებულებას.
ასეც თუ ისე ტბას დაარქვეს სილას აბრაამის (Silas Abraham) სახელი. ეს ადამიანი მდინარე სასკაჩუვანის ხეობაში ცხოვრობდა XIX საუკუნეში. სამწუხაროდ Google_მ მეტი არაფერი იცოდა :(
