ხელოვნების ამ სახეობას რამე განსაკუთრებული სახელი არ გააჩნია. ის საოცრად დემოკრატიულია : ნებისმიერს შეუძლია აიღოს ნებისმიერი ქვა, ნებისმიერი ფერის საღებავი და გამოსახოს ნებისმიერი ობიექტი..
დემოკრატიულობის გარდა ქვების მოხატვა საოცრად ტრადიციულიცაა ( ასე დაიწყეს ხელოვნება ტქვენმა შორეულმა წინაპრებმა) !!!
