ბაბილონში არსებობდა საპატარძლოების აუქციონი. ლამაზები რა თქმა უნდა, ძალიან სწრაფად იყიდებოდნენ, ულამაზოებს კი ნისიად ატანდნენ. თუ მამაკაცი თავისი ნებით ამოირჩევდა ქალს ცოლად, რომელზეც მოთხოვნა საერთოდ არ იყო, ქალაქის ხელისუფალნი მას ფულად კომპენსაციას უხდიდნენ. :)))
