ფესტივალის პირველი დღე იწყება დაღამებისას სიმბოლურად ანთებენს კოცონს და წვავენ ჰოლიკს, მეორე დღეს ფესტივალის მონაწილეები დილიდან დაბინდბამდე ერთმანეთს აყრიან ფერებს ან წუწაობენ.
აღსანიშნავია, რომ ჰოლი არ არის მარტო ინდური დღესასწაული,ის გვარცელებულია ევროპის სხვადასხვა ქვეყნებში, ჰოლი ეს არის ყველაზე ხმაურიანი საზეიმო ფესტივალი...
