ფილმში მოქმედება სოფლად იწყება. მთავარ გმირს მამა გარდაეცვლება და ობლად დარჩენილი ქალაქში დასახლებას გადაწყვეტს. ჩასვლის პირველსავე დღეს ქალს გაიცნობს და ერთი ნახვით შეუყვარდება. ქალი გათხოვილია ბიზნესმენზე, რომელიც ხშირად მივლინებაშია. სილამაზით დაჯილდოებული ქალბატონი, სიმდიდრის მიუხედავად, მარტოობას ვერ გუობს და საყვარლების სიმცირეს არ უჩივის. ახლადდაობლებული მთავარი გმირი კი, მისი თანამზრახველი გახდება ერთ-ერთი საყვარლის მოცილებაში. ცუდად დაგეგმილი მკვლეობის მცდელობა კრახით სრულდება. მთავარ გმირს აპატიმრებენ. ციხეში დაუმეგობრდება მეცნიერს, რომლის დახმარებით თავს დააღწევენ ტყვეობას.
