გარეცხეთ, გათალეთ, დაჭერით, ჩაყარეთ ქილებში, დააყარეთ შაქარი (იმის მიხედვით რამდენად ტკბილია ატამი), დაასწით ადუღებული წყალი. გადაიტანეთ ქვაბში სადაც ასევე ადუღებული წყალი იქნება. ქვაბშივე, თითოეულ ქილას დაადეთ სახურავი. შემდეგ, ამოიღეთ და დახუფეთ. გვიან შემოდგომაზე, ზამთარსა და გაზაფხულზე მიირთვით ))
